Home Ownership
Ask yourself, “Do you want a house or a home?” Then ask yourself, “Do you want a builder or a relationship?” Chances are you’re looking for a home and not just a house, and a relationship and not just a builder. Most builders can, in fact, build, but not every builder can offer you a relationship that develops at our first meeting. My goal, when I established Pathway Homes, was to create a company that offered the personal relationship that most companies today no longer offer as a standard feature.Home ownership is different than owning other things, such as a car or a boat. Those are things we use occasionally and seasonally. Your home is something that you use everyday. You sleep there, raise your children there, make lifetime memories there, and grow there. It’s more personal. It’s your sanctuary. And that is where our pathway together begins.
Our first steps down this path together center around sitting down face–to-face and determining your home building goals, and then blending them together with your unique style and design to fit your personal lifestyle. Whether you’re moving into your first home, growing out of your current home or an empty nester looking for maintenance free living, I will be there every step of the way.
Our next step together is getting your creative vision out of your dreams and onto paper. Whether it is a home you designed yourself on the back of a napkin or a personal meeting with an architect, we can make your dream become a reality. Think of the process like a big puzzle that needs to be put together; you give me the pieces and I will put it together for you. Home building can be overwhelming to many, but it need not be.
Each day that goes by will transform your visions into a reality. Each trip to the site will begin to reveal your personality and personal touches. And each day will bring you farther down the pathway to home ownership. Sure there are obstacles and challenges, but are not all paths filled with character builders? But it is the joy at the end of the path that makes it all worthwhile.
It is important to remember that you are not alone in the process. Throughout this journey there are several times when we will meet to review the project together. For example, the Pre-Construction Meeting is where we discuss your selections and the processes involved in building your home. Then there is the Pre-Drywall Meeting, where we tour the home together and ensure that all electrical and plumbing components are properly placed. The next meeting will be a tour of the home prior to painting and floor covering placement to ensure that the proper colors, materials and color palettes are being used. Our Final Meeting is a tour, prior to occupancy, to ensure that all the details of your new home are just as you expected and to introduce you to the how your new home operates as a system.
We can’t finish the journey if we don’t get started down your pathway to homeownership. So let’s begin and get you into your dream house; the home that you deserve.
